Modular Energy Efficiency
MIL-Shelter Units have an extremely high thermal performance with R-values up to R-40.
There is minimal thermal bridging compared to modular military building which drastically reduces energy consumption. The insulating qualities of the MIL-Shelter Units allow for a reduced capacity heating/cooling system, thus reducing the overall footprint of the Unit. This is highly beneficial for off-grid installations. MIL-Shelter Units contribute towards LEED certification and similar Green Building standards.
